This is a career opportunity for a competitive self-starter as a full time; career focused Insurance Agent/Producer. Experience is preferred; however training will be provided for the right person who seeks a rewarding and lucrative sales career.
As an insurance producer, you must be analytical in determining the needs and interests of the client, beginning with a detailed policy audit and ending with a presentation of your findings to establish trust, earn credibility and add value to prospective & current clients.
Organizational skills are imperative as you multi task weekly in a number of areas including direct correspondence with prospects & clients, obtaining, completing and submitting accurate new business paperwork and monthly sales reports to management. Mentoring will be provided.
Job duties include scheduling appointments and visiting potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to new prospects as well as direct cold calling to prospective clients. We continually prospect for new clients and new referral sources utilizing social media, direct mail, email marketing, the telephone, current client visits, and other local marketing programs.

Skills and Qualifications:
Highly motivated, self-starter
Active State of Michigan Property & Casualty License
Knowledge of commercial lines insurance
Above average interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
College degree and/or one year experience in commercial lines or proven outside sales experience and related training preferred
Develop and maintain active expiration list through internal and external sources
Provide immediate follow up on referrals
Cultivate prospects and obtain new accounts
Provide professional risk management advice to prospects and clients
Work with CSAs to prepare proposals and present to prospects and clients
Stay abreast of trends in insurance industry and pursue continuing education.
Make follow up calls on insureds to insure client satisfaction with insurance program and insurance needs
